call for submisisons

im going to make a zine called "how to draw a comic book that doesnt suck". if anyone wants to vent, or talk about what bugs them the most about (bad) comics, either post here, email me, or draw a 2-3 page snippet about *usefull* tips for aspiring comics artists. they should have a smart-ass tone but still be helpfull- ie, "step one-learn to draw" isnt as helpfull as say, "step one: buy a ruler" or "step twenty-seven: tips to help balance your page".
tips on perspective, blackwork, inking, pencils, characters, etc are great as long as they are in laymans terms. i will pay for this to be printed (kinkos at first, better later). both text and comics submissions will be considered (if something is WAY to complicated for the beginer, i wont print it...)
some more things that might be addressed in the book:
-varying line thickness/width
-cheaply printing your comic
-how to draw boobs (you know you need that bit of info)
-"cheat sheet" for hands, shading...etc
-panel placement
-cloth basics
remember: smart-ass but helpfull.

i want this to be out by comic con..so...get cracking. word. this is, obviously, a no-pay job- all profit will go back into printing more of the zine.

please, dont be offended by any of this. this isnt a jab at anyone, just a fun project.

theres this little girl, um. something kitchen, damn i forget, Ill go look it up. Anyway shes writing a book called 'drawing comics is easy" shes uh, 7 or 8. Her stuff is acctually suprisingly clever and enjoyable.

the one thing I think these kind of books usually forget is they all site the same things. While the little girl is obviously not going to be siting Kirby EVERYBODY else does. You should focus on other art aspects like color balance, panel layouts, and how people react in living space.
